Fair Ladies Rally for the Cure® 2009 RESULTS
Held July 24, 2009 at Fairways Golf Club, Warrington, PA
The Fair Ladies at Fairways Golf Club, Warrington, Pennsylvania
again ran a sold-out event on July 24th. Dressed in pink, 136 women)
from Bucks & Montgomery Counties and as far as Myrtle Beach,
SC) gathered together for an annual breast cancer awareness Scramble
in conjunction with the national Rally for the Cure® Program
while also raising funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Philadelphia
Section.
Low Gross Winner scoring 61 was the foursome of Belinda Cush, Cathy
DeMarco, Linda Kudzmas, Lori Giaquinto. Winning a 63 tie was the
Second Low Gross foursome of Viv Werner, Kim Cornell, Linda Sosnowski,
Eileen Burke. Third Low Gross was Shirley Olex, Joan Saxman and
daughters, Shelly Hill and Kristy LeVasseur.
Closest to the Pin Winners were Hole 3 - Pam Rauh, 5’5”;
Rally Hole 9 – Linda Napolitan – 23 ½’;
Holy 15 – Wendy Bennett 3’4”. Landing on the Green
on the Rally Hole 9 were Kay Haggerty, Linda Napolitan and Beth
Casele.
Longest Drive winners were the Saxman Sisters - Kristy LeVasseur
on Hole 5 and Shelly Hill on Hole 16.
Barb Lukens won the putting green contest while Kay Haggerty and
Pat Trucksess won the mulligan raffles.
The Fair Ladies were able to raise over $14,805 through the help
of their golfers, sponsors, merchandise donors, the Warrington Fr.
Gallen Knights of Columbus and Fairways Golf & Country Club.
