Our 2011 Season will start on Thursday, April 7. The meeting will
be held at 9:00 a.m., (rain or shine) at
the Fairways Club House. The meeting will consist of welcoming our
new members, reviewing league
information and any changes in the league. All members are encouraged
to attend, even if you have
decided not to play that day.
After the meeting, Linda Kudzmas will present a short seminar regarding
“Golf Etiquette”. She promises
to be brief, informative and entertaining. If you wish to play on
April 7, the tee times are scheduled
immediately after the seminar; be prepared to play. More seminars
are being planned. Information and
signup sheets will be distributed two weeks before the event.
Our regular season play will officially start on Thursday, April
14.
Tournaments will be held each week. A schedule listing the named
tournaments and flights will be
distributed on April 7. Tournaments canceled because of inclement
weather may or may not be
rescheduled at a later date. If you wish to verify that a tournament
is called due to rain, phone the
Tournament director or Fairways at 215.343.9979, Ext 0.

Handicaps: the scorecard basket is located on the table in the League
Lounge. Deposit any non-league
scorecards from Fairways or other courses you have played. Required:
full name, date, total score. Your
True handicap is established from this information. New members
need a handicap of five score cards to
be eligible for tournament prizes. All prizes will be presented
at the Awards Luncheon in October. If you
cannot attend, we will make certain that you receive your prize.
